Our Wedding...

After a year of planning, the wedding finally came! It was extremely beautiful, and everything Jon and I have always wanted. We are so thankful that all of our family and friends came out to celebrate our special day with us. We had several people come in from out of town, so it was really nice to be able to catch up! The wedding rehersal was held on Friday afternoon, followed by a dinner at "Hideaway Pizza" in Oklahoma City. After dinner, all of our friends and siblings got together and we went to "Nancy's" (kereoke bar)...where we all danced, sang and celebrated in pre-wedding fashion. Here's a photo of some of the party-goers...

Our wedding day was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Seriously....who would've thought we'd have 75 degree weather the weekend of our wedding...in the middle of February in Snowklahoma?! I pretty much hung out with my bridal party all day, getting ready for the big event. Jon hung out with his groomsmen,  and tried to relax before the big event. By the time I got to the chapel, my stomach felt like it was housing about 50 butterflies...I was nervous. It's nerve-racking to me, to walk into a room full of people staring at you...not to mention the fact that I kept thinking "What if I faint?". I don't remember much about my walk down the aisle...except that I bawled like a baby the entire time. Yeah, it was embarrassing...but all I could see was Jon standing at the end of the aisle...everything/everyone else were a blur. The ceremony was short and sweet...lasting about 15 minutes. Once the guests made their way to the reception, we began taking wedding pictures...in a very speedy manner. After the pictures, we finally made our way to the reception. It was a gorgeous candle-lit room with damask print tables, black satin chair bows, and warm amber colored lighting. Ahhhh...It was the most beautiful reception I've ever seen (but I'm a teensy-bit biased)! The food was delicious..and beautiful to the eye. We served: Greek Pizzettes, Polynesian Meatballs, Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip, and Jumbo Cocktail Shrimp....along with assorted sandwiches, cheeses, fruits and vegetables. The wedding cake was an elegant three-tiered black and white damask design, with two layers of red velvet and one layer of white chocolate amaretto. The groom's "OU" themed cake was filled with a delicious dark chocolate. Here's a picture of us cutting into our wedding cake...

We were so sad when the reception was over...but we managed to get everyone together for an after-party at Baker Street, and then an after-after-party back at the hotel (Big Mistake...didn't go to bed until 4am). Overall, it was the most fun weekend I've ever had in my life. Jon and I want to thank everyone who attended and supported us during our wedding...we love you guys! I cannot believe I'm finally Mrs. Erin Anne Honan!

These are the only wedding pictures I have...but I promise to post more when I receive them from our photographer.

Stay tuned for details about our honeymoon in Las Vegas...

Bachelorette Party

Hello Everyone!

I know it's been almost forever since I blogged, but things have been so hectic around here...and I finally feel settled.

I thought I'd share some posts about the events leading up to our beautiful wedding...For those that didn't get to see the pictures, I'll start things off with my Bachelorette Party.

My Maid of Honor, Kellie Stone, threw me an amazing bachelorette party! We started the festivities off at Kellie's place (in Tulsa) with some cocktails, sweets, games, and a lingerie shower. The cookies, cupcakes, pretzels and drinks were sooooo good!

Kellie made sure to include even the smallest details...

I received a few special outfits from the ladies...but I'll just share one of the more tame outfits here...

After the lingerie shower, we all headed to dinner at the new Wolfgang Puck Restaurant over on Brookside. Let me just tell you...the food there is ahhhhhmazing! Seriously, it's comfort food with a twist, and it was delicious. I had the tortilla soup, and the bacon-wrapped meatloaf, which was the best I'd ever eaten. (No offense mom!)

After we all filled up on the delectables at Wolfgang Puck's, we decided to go to Baker Street...which is a very large pub, where people in their 20's and 30's hang out. I had a blast! I'll give you one guess as to why...

I cannot thank Kellie enough for planning such an awesome bachelorette party for me! I'm so glad all of my girls came out for the event, and so appreciative to Leslie for letting me sleep at her place....and for being the DD!

P.S. - My new niece, Campbell Vienna Miller came into the world a few days before my bachelorette party...

Which means that this little diva....is now a big sister...

Campbell is a doll...and loves her Aunt Erin sooooo much!
